COCA-COLA IN BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA AND THE SARAJEVO FILM FESTIVAL IN THE INITIATIVE OF RESPONSIBLE DISPOSAL OF PACKAGING WASTE

RECYCLE ME. GIVE ME A NEW LIFE. INITIATIVE STARTED AT THE SARAJEVO FILM FESTIVAL

Coca-Cola in Bosnia and Herzegovina, during this year's Sarajevo Film Festival, in cooperation with the organizers and its customers and partners, implements the initiative Recycle me. Give me a new life. which is part of the global program World without waste. Activities within the initiative are aimed at creating new habits, as well as educating and raising citizens' awareness of the importance of proper disposal, sorting and recycling of waste.

In cooperation with the Sarajevo Film Festival, containers consisting of three units have been placed at the busiest locations in the center of Sarajevo: for plastic bottles, for cans and for mixed waste, and available mobile teams with backpacks that will circulate around the city and in which it is possible to deposit plastic bottles and cans. All collected waste is collected and sent for recycling in cooperation with the utility company "Rad" and the company "Ekopak".

Coca-Cola HBC, as a socially responsible company and a leader in the application of the postulates of sustainable business, has clearly set goals related to the reduction of environmental impact. One of the strategic commitments of the company globally is the World without waste program. By doing so, it directly contributes to reducing the impact on the environment and offers solutions to the challenges associated with packaging.

Culture, art and a successful society rest on a culture of responsible and sustainable living.
