In Bosnia and Herzegovina, Coca-Cola is deeply integrated into Bosnian society and dedicated to the development of the local community through numerous activities and initiatives. On the occasion of the beginning of the activities that will mark 55 years of Coca-Cola's business in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a visit of the mayor of Sarajevo, Benjamina Karić and deputy mayor Samir Avdić to the Coca-Cola bottling plant in Hadžići was organized.
23 years ago, as part of the first major investment, production facilities were reconstructed and production restarted at the plant in Hadžići. Continuous investments ensured numerous innovations in production focused on sustainability and environmental protection, while investments in employees enabled the empowerment of a large number of experts who, with their influence, improved the operations of Coca-Cola and other companies in the country. Coca-Cola, as one of the important employers in the country, directly employed 281 workers in 2023, while through the value chain it provided jobs for 5,750 people, which represents 0.7% of the total number of jobs in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Today's visit is proof that our local community, where our production plant is located, as well as the City of Sarajevo, recognize and appreciate our unwavering dedication and significant contribution to the socio-economic progress of Bosnia and Herzegovina" pointed out Amela Čengić, the Coca-Cola HBC B-H Sarajevo sales department manager.
The record production achieved in 2023 amounted to 21,138,512 boxes or more than 100 million liters of beverage, and is evidence of exceptional operational efficiency and continuous growth. Coca-Cola has a significant impact on the local economy through cooperation with 421 local suppliers and 14,011 customers.
Today's visit of the Mayor of the City of Sarajevo to the bottling plant in Hadžići is a confirmation of the recognition of the significant contribution to the socio-economic impact and progress of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the past 20 years, Coca-Cola has been actively involved in BH society through support of various local projects and partners, including the Sarajevo Film Festival, the BiH Olympic Committee and the celebration of the 40th anniversary of ZOI84, the Euro, and through Coca-Cola's youth empowerment projects and sustainability initiatives , like "Recycle me. Give me a new life".
