In 2018 Coca‑Cola will be providing free workshops for 500 young persons across Bosnia and Herzegovina

Sarajevo, 5 March 2018 – Following last year’s launch of the unique project to support youth empowerment, the Coca‑Cola Youth Empowered Programme in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Coca‑Cola HBC B-H will soon embark on the second phase of the programme, which will this year include 500 young participants throughout BiH. Under the motto ''Learn, apply, start'', Coca‑Cola will once again provide unemployed persons aged between 18 and 30 years, who are motivated to learn how to stand-out in the labour market, a free opportunity to acquire life and business skills necessary for employment and better positioning on the labour market.

''After the programme's extremely successful first year and excellent feedback from the participants, this year we want to include as many as 500 young participants and cover ten cities across Bosnia and Herzegovina. By including the largest number of participants possible, we want to continue contributing to the resolution of one of the biggest social problems – high youth unemployment, and thus help young people stay and find jobs in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Hence, this project reflects our devotion to the community, our involvement in providing solutions to important social issues and our desire to actively participate in resolving issues and the development of the Bosnian and Herzegovinian society'', said Ruža Tomić Fontana, Coca‑Cola HBC's General Manager for Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Slovenia.

The Coca‑Cola Youth Empowered Programmehas been designed to identify, develop, empower and motivate its participants to be successful and more competitive on the labour market. The project has been tailored for young people from 18 to 30 years of age, focusing on the unemployed and persons who have completed their formal education, whom the project will help to acquire and develop knowledge, skills and competences for the labour market. The programme will have 500 participants from at least ten B-H cities. For more information about the programme and (how) to apply, please visit the web page www.coca-colinapodrskamladima.ba
