The General Manager of Coca‑Cola HBC B-H d.o.o. Sarajevo, Mircea Draja, today hosted a visit by US Ambassador Charles English to the Coca‑Cola Hadžići bottling plant. The visit coincided with the 13th anniversary of post-war business operations in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“Construction of the bottling plant, which was officially opened in 2000, represents one of the largest single investments in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the past decade and is a demonstration of the company’s faith in the future development of the economy, and a signal of its determination to serve customers with products and services of the highest quality” said General manager Mircea Draja.
During the visit to the bottling plant, Ambassador English and General Manger Draja commented on the benefits that businesses gain by working closely with the government and business associations, and how simplifying regulations can create a better operating environment that can attract further foreign investments.
Ambassador English said, “It is essential that the Government undertakes reforms that will help make it easier for Bosnia and Herzegovina to interact in a productive and profitable way with the global economy. Even under the existing system, Bosnia and Herzegovina offers rewards to determined and patient investors, and Coca‑Cola HBC B-H d.o.o. Sarajevo is an outstanding example of that. Apart from this, Coca‑Cola HBC B-H d.o.o. Sarajevo is an excellent example of socially responsible company” added Ambassador English.
